Hi There!

My name is Charisse Consul but you can call me Cha. I am a Filipina Artist who is a graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts Majoring in Visual Communication. I am currently residing in the Philippines and am now working in a home studio as a Book Illustrator. I am multi-passionate by heart! Other than book illustrating— I am also a professional graphic designer able to provide premium services like book cover design, magazine or editorial illustrations, branding and packaging design.

My Story

I fell in love with drawing and reading as a child. Growing up different from my peers (and being diagnosed late with ADHD), these two innocent interests became my solace. Looking back now made me realize my hobbies helped me create a world for myself where I can be me without judgement. A world where there is hope intact with endless possibilities.

I know there are children like me today facing the same struggles as I did— so when the opportunity of being a children’s book illustrator came, it was like finding my true purpose in life. Today, not only do I get to unify both of my passions into a career, but also inspire the younger generations to advocate for a new reality where they don’t have to use books as a source of power to become who they want to be.
